Beer Batter

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups Plain Flour
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp Butter
1 Egg, beaten
1 cup Flat Beer

To Cook:

Wash seafood and pat dry.
In a bowl sift flour and cayenne pepper, rub in butter and add egg.
Mix well.
Gradually add beer, stirring constantly until a smooth batter is formed.
Fry until golden brown.
Drain on kitchen paper.
